Email Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity to help to transform lives..

Centre of Excellence is a UK-based e-learning company with over 14 years of trading history, 1,000+ online courses, and more than 2 million students across 150 countries. We specialise in holistic health, wellbeing, personal development, and spiritual growth — and we hold a 5-star Trustpilot rating built on genuine student transformation.

We are at an exciting inflection point. We have launched a new subscription model and are building a full community-led, transformation-first brand. Email is at the heart of this mission — we have a database of 2million customers who deserve to hear from us in a way that feels human, warm, and genuinely useful.

This is not a role for someone who wants to send batch-and-blast promotions. This is a role for someone who believes that the right email, sent to the right person, at the right moment, can change a life.

The Role

You will own the full email marketing function at Centre of Excellence — from strategy and content creation through to building, segmenting, sending, and reporting. You will work closely with our AI tools (primarily Claude) to produce heartfelt, high-quality email content at scale, and you will be the human voice that makes sure everything we send feels authentically CoE.

This role is unique: rather than spending your days writing from a blank page, you will be directing AI to produce first drafts, then refining them, adding real student testimonials, sourcing images from our library, and building the finished emails inside Omnisend. You will be the quality filter between AI output and our 2million customers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Own and maintain a 12-month email content calendar across all courses, online workshops, and subscription products
  • Plan monthly and weekly send schedules mapped to product launches, seasonal moments, and student journey milestones
  • Recommend and implement A/B testing strategies for subject lines, CTAs, and content formats
  • Ensure all email activity aligns with CoE's brand voice: warm, transformational, community-led, and spiritually aware

Content Creation

  • Brief and direct Claude (AI) to produce first-draft email copy for all campaigns
  • Edit, refine, and personalise all AI-generated content to ensure it sounds authentically human and on-brand
  • Source and weave in real student testimonials from our student study group into relevant campaigns
  • Collate images from our asset library to match each email's content and tone
  • Write subject lines and preview text with a focus on open rates and emotional resonance
  • Produce heartfelt community-led emails that celebrate student milestones, share transformation stories, and nurture long-term loyalty

Email Build & Delivery (Omnisend)

  • Build all emails inside Omnisend using branded templates
  • Create and maintain audience segments based on purchase history, subscription tier, engagement level, learning interest, and lifecycle stage
  • Set up automated flows: welcome sequences, post-purchase journeys, re-engagement campaigns, and subscription upgrade prompts
  • Prepare weekly approval packs for sign-off before any email is sent
  • Manage send schedules and ensure nothing goes live without approval

Reporting & Optimisation

  • Review open rates, click rates, conversion data, and unsubscribe rates after every campaign
  • Produce clear monthly performance reports with insight and recommendations — not just numbers
  • Feed performance data back into Claude to analyse patterns and suggest improvements
  • Track contribution of email to subscription upgrades, course sales, and event bookings
  • Maintain a clean, healthy list — managing suppressions, bounces, and re-engagement flows

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 2–3 years experience in email marketing, CRM, or digital marketing
  • Confident writer with a warm, engaging tone — you understand the difference between selling and connecting
  • Experience building emails inside an ESP (Omnisend, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
  • Comfortable working with AI tools to draft content — curious about how to get the best from them
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail — nothing goes out with a typo on your watch
  • Data-literate — able to read a campaign report and extract meaningful insight
  • Self-starter who can manage a content calendar with minimal day-to-day direction

Desirable

  • Experience with Omnisend specifically
  • Background in wellness, personal development, spirituality, or adjacent sectors
  • Experience with audience segmentation and lifecycle email flows
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and email deliverability best practices
  • Interest in NLP, hypnotherapy, holistic health, or coaching — you'll be writing to people who care deeply about these topics

This role is NOT about writing everything from scratch, managing social media, running paid ads, or doing graphic design. Your focus is email — and within that, it's about directing AI intelligently, adding the human touch, and making sure every send reflects CoE's mission to transform lives. Including our community images and testimonials throughout.

What You'll Get

  • Salary: £26,000 – £34,000 depending on experience
  • Fully remote role
  • Your birthday off every year
  • Access to all 1,000+ CoE courses — free, forever
  • The chance to be part of a brand with a genuine mission: helping people transform their lives
  • A role where AI makes you more powerful, not less — you'll be working smarter, not harder
  • The satisfaction of knowing your emails are genuinely helping 2million people on their learning journey

How to Apply

To apply, please send the following to [email protected]:

  • Your CV
  • A covering letter (no more than one page) telling us why this role is right for you and what you believe great email marketing looks like
  • One example of an email you've written that you're proud of — real or written specifically for this application

Applications without a covering letter or email example will not be considered. We're a company that cares about words — show us yours.

Commercial Growth Manager

An exciting opportunity to scale and grow an established business.

Centre of Excellence is at a genuinely exciting inflection point. We have 14 years of trading history, 1,000+ online courses, over two million students across 150 countries, over 7,000 5-star reviews on Trustpilot built on real transformation. We have just launched a global licensee programme, are expanding into new markets, and have more strategic initiatives in motion than our current team can execute alone.

This is not a strategy role. The strategy is defined. Sara knows where CoE is going. What we need now is someone who makes it happen, who picks up each initiative, drives it to completion, and comes back asking what's next.

If you are the kind of person who finds a to-do list energising rather than overwhelming, who follows up without being chased, who owns a project from first conversation to final result, and who genuinely cares about the mission behind the work — this role was written for you.

The Role

The Commercial Growth Manager is Sara's right hand for growth and execution. You will own a portfolio of the company's most important growth initiatives — the global licensee programme, corporate and B2B partnerships and workshops and events.

The simplest way to describe this role:

Sara defines the vision and the strategy. You make it real. You are the bridge between brilliant ideas and actual results — the person who turns a conversation on Monday into a signed contract by Friday, a concept in a document into a live website, a plan on a page into a programme that's signing partners worldwide.

What You Will Own

1. Global Licensee Programme

CoE has just launched a three-tier international licensee programme — one of the most exciting growth opportunities in the company's history. You will own its execution end to end.

  • Manage the licensee enquiry pipeline — from application through to signed agreement
  • Conduct welcome calls with prospective licensees, qualify them, and guide them to the right licence tier
  • Send proposals, follow up, negotiate, and close agreements
  • Onboard new licensees — coordinate setup, ensure the technical integration is delivered on time, run the onboarding session
  • Manage the relationship with franchise brokers and business opportunity networks
  • Maintain the territory map — track which countries are live, in pipeline, or available
  • Report monthly to Sara on pipeline status, signed licensees, and revenue from the programme
  • Coordinate with developers on the Dutch site build and subsequent territory deployments

2. Corporate & B2B Wellness Partnerships

CoE has significant untapped potential in the corporate wellness market. You will build this channel from the ground up.

  • Identify and approach HR directors, L&D managers, and corporate wellness buyers at target companies
  • Develop and pitch the CoE corporate wellness proposition — tailored packages from our existing course library
  • Negotiate and close B2B contracts — ranging from small team licences to company-wide wellness programmes
  • Build relationships with corporate wellness platforms and employee benefit providers for distribution partnerships
  • Track pipeline, conversion rates, and B2B revenue monthly

3. Workshops, Events & Live Experiences

CoE runs live online workshops, masterclasses, and events — and this programme is growing. You will own its commercial operation.

  • Own the workshops and events calendar — plan, schedule, and coordinate with Sara and facilitators
  • Manage ticket sales, registration, and pre-event communications across all platforms
  • Coordinate technical setup for live events — platform, recording, replay distribution
  • Ensure licensees are briefed on and selling upcoming events within their own markets
  • Track attendance, revenue, and satisfaction for every event — report back to Sara with insight and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to grow the events programme — new formats, new topics, retreat partnerships

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days: you know the business inside out — the licensee model, the courses, the strategy, the team, the tools. You have taken ownership of the licensee pipeline, made contact with every warm prospect, and have at least three active conversations in progress.

In your first 90 days: at least five licensees signed across the Starter and Growth tiers. The workshops calendar planned for the next six months.

In your first year: the licensee programme is generating meaningful recurring revenue. A corporate wellness pipeline exists. The events programme is growing. CoE's has grown measurably.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 7+ years of experience in a commercial, business development, or operations role — ideally in e-learning, SaaS, media, or a consumer brand
  • A genuine executor — you have a track record of taking projects from idea to completion without constant direction
  • Strong commercial instinct — you understand revenue models, can read a pipeline, and know how to close a deal
  • Excellent communicator — written and verbal. You can write a compelling proposal, run a persuasive call with a prospective licensee, and brief a developer clearly in the same morning
  • Highly organised — you run on systems. Nothing falls through the cracks because you built the system that catches it
  • Self-starter — fully remote means fully autonomous. You don't wait to be told what to do next
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — CoE is a fast-moving founder-led business. Priorities shift. The right person finds that energising, not unsettling
  • Aligned with the mission — you genuinely believe in the power of education to change lives. This is not a job you're doing for the salary

Desirable

  • Experience in franchise, licensing, or partner channel programmes
  • Background in wellness, personal development, holistic health, or adjacent sectors
  • Familiarity with AI tools — Claude, Canva, Opus Clip, or similar
  • Experience with e-commerce, Shopify, or digital product platforms
  • International business experience — working across multiple countries or time zones

What This Role Is Not

This is not a strategy role, a thought leadership role, or a 'let's have a meeting about it' role. You will not be building decks to present to the board. You will not be waiting for perfect information before moving. You will not be managing a large team or hiding behind process. You will be doing the work — every day — and measuring yourself against one question: did things move forward today?
