What Will You Learn?

Whether you are interested in building your own play therapy business, have a background in psychology, counselling or education and would like to work towards gaining a licence in this area, or are a parent whose child is about to undergo, or who already is undergoing play therapy, and you would like to understand it better, the Play Therapy Course is for you.

This course is ideal if you are a complete beginner in the field of play therapy, and are considering making a career change or if you have a child who is attending play therapy and you’d like to understand it better.

Whilst a recognised qualification is required in order to practice as a play therapist, this course will provide you with invaluable insight into the role and deepen your understanding of the practice. It will also help you in deciding whether this career choice is for you, before you embark on a full play therapy qualification, and provide you with a strong foundational knowledge of the subject if you proceed.

Play Therapy as a Career

To work as a play therapist, many employers will prefer you to have an approved postgraduate qualification and be registered with the British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT) or Play Therapy UK (PTUK). You would also need to pass checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Excellent credited courses for everyone!

Desc: I have done over 15 courses with CoE already and I can only recommend them. Friendly customer support, great topics, very alternative and unique courses you'll hardly find anywhere else. Also a huge selection of different interests, there is something for everyone. Great discount codes running at all times! What started as a way to cope with COVID has become a true passion for me. Thank you CoE!
